Matcha Preparation Guide

Traditional Method with Bamboo Beater (Chasen)

For Traditional Matcha Tea:

1. Heat the matcha bowl by filling it with hot water, then empty the water
2. Sift 1-2 teaspoons (2g) of premium organic matcha into the bowl
3. Add about 60ml of hot water (70°C – not boiling)
4. Hold the bamboo whisk with your thumb and first two fingers.
5. Beat in a quick “W” or “M” motion, not in circles
6. Continue beating for 15-20 seconds until it foams with small bubbles.
7. Enjoy immediately for the best taste and experience

Electric Method for Matcha Latte

For a Delicious Matcha Latte:

1. Sift 1-2 teaspoons (2-4g) of our premium organic matcha into a cup
2. Add 30ml of hot water (70°C)
3. Use a handheld electric whisk to mix for 10-15 seconds until smooth.
4. Heat 240ml of your preferred milk (dairy or plant-based)
5. Froth the milk with the electric frother until it becomes creamy.
6. Pour the frothed milk over the matcha mixture.
7. Optional: Add a little honey or maple syrup for flavor
8. Sprinkle with a little matcha powder for an elegant finish.
