Beginning her journey to Europe with the Spanish around the 17th century, Luisa, known until then as ''kentron'', took her later name in honor of Maria Luisa Teresa de Parma, wife of King Carlos IV of Spain.
In the early years, Louisa was used exclusively for the creation of perfumes due to its intoxicating lemony scent, but it wasn't long before its countless therapeutic properties were discovered.
Louisa is characterized by its tonic, antioxidant, anti-inflammatory and antimicrobial action, deservingly earning its place among the top medicinal and beneficial herbs for the human body.
